The Firebirds have arisen from the idea of paper airplanes. The folding of paper, the smooth shape and its recognition intrigues almost everyone in another way. A perfect form and basis for a group of 3 light sculptures!
Firebirds is part of the series StorySeries, lustres en cuir d’animaux herbivores de midi pyrenees, an artistic collaboration between Marijke Vandekerckhove and Waldo De Groote around lighting and textiles.
